Dear everyone :

I want to ask about the Secondary DNS of RAQ 550

There has two server , first one is 192.168.1.1 ( www.abc.com )
second one is 192.168.1.2 ( home.abc.com )

In Server Primary DNS(192.168.1.1) :

[ Edit Secondary Service ] -> [ DNS Secondary Service List ]
Secondary Service -> 192.168.1.2 / 255.255.255.0
Primary DNS Server -> 192.168.1.1

[ Edit Secondary Service ] -> [ DNS Add Secondary Service]
Network -> 192.168.1.2
Network Subnet Mask -> 255.255.255.0
Primary DNS Server IP Address -> 192.168.1.1

and add 192.168.1.2 in [ Zone Transfer Access by IP Address ]

In Server Primary DNS(192.168.1.2) :
It don't need to set anything , it will do a secondary DNS automatically .

Does the concept for raq 550 DNS is correct ?

because the user guide of raq 550 is not clear in this topic .

Any one can give a idea on this topic ?

Just make sure that you also have the authentication/security set for the primary nameserver to "recognize" the request by the 2ndary one to pull its records as being valid.
