ok, im dumb with networks,programming,web publishing,java,html.php,Vb,ASP you name it,
what is my chances of administrating a Cobalt Raq4i ?
since i need a large storage & traffic monthly, i've decided to get a dedicated Raq4i , propably from rackshak.com .... any advice you experts ? oh and my site is uses active server pages "ASP"
what else , hmmm , just let me know what you all think:cartman:

The RAQ is actually very easy to administer - especially if all you need is one or a few sites... Adding a site etc is done with a, well somewhat dull GUI, but it is working :)

However, my advice regarding the ASP is: check out what kind of database you are using right now - if you are using one. If you are using Access or Microsoft SQL Server you have no possibility to get it to work in the RAQ ( which is a Linux box ). You will then need a dedicated Windows box and they cost a lot more!

Also, ASP simply runs better on a Windows box, so if you can afford it go for a Windows box.

you are absolutly right, i need a Y2k machine , or a Host with a Large Storage/traffic virtual plan.
