WhistleStopper.com (http://www.whistleStopper.com) has just started displaying ads within the last few weeks. WhistleStopper forums are barely three months old. Already, we have more than 770 members with anywhere from 10 – 20 new members signing up every day. We have reached the level of more then 1,500 visits per day and the pace is increasing quickly.

The topic of discussion on the forums is politics, and as such our audience tends to be a bit older then the typical forum site. People come either to read about politics or join the civil discussions.

We are pleased to announce the following advertising opportunity:

The bottom of all of our pages (except for the rules and advertising info pages) will feature two 120x60 ads. We are selling eight slots. Since each page features two ads, your ad will appear on approximately 25% of all pages served.

Each slot is only $10 per week. Your ad will receive a minimum of 20,000 impressions over the course of a week, and likely more.

For the next two weeks, two slots are already taken by web hosting companies. I would prefer to have a maximum of three slots taken by hosts. After one more slot is sold each week to a host, I will be happy to take reservations for future periods.

We also have 468x60 ads featured on the top of all pages (again except the rules and advertising information pages).

The cost of these ads is $2 CPM with a minimum purchase of 5,000 impressions.

There is a large inventory of 468x60 ads still available, so there are no restrictions on webhosts.

Slots for 120x60 ads will join the rotation beginning Sunday, January 11. 468x60 adspace is available for immediate insertion.

At this time, payment through paypal only. We will not accept advertisements for adult sites or sites with illegal content.

Can I ask, what is your clickthrough rate for each 1000 impressions served?

Unfortunately I don't yet have enough data to accurately answer your question. We only recently started showing ads, and the vast majority have been "house ads." The click through rate has been relatively low on these ads, but that is to be expected for house ads.
