Hi Georgie,

experience is the best way to acquire knowledge. If youre serious about this, I would recommend starting off with some reading and researching. Then get a reseller account and play around with it. See if you can host a couple of friends (who wont get furious if something goes wrong) - and go through the process of setting up accounts and dealing with the day to day issues associated with hosting.

Hope this helps...

wow - thats a tough question - everyone pretty much offers these. I would narrow your choices down to a few - maybe browse the offers forum....

If money is a concern, maybe try a bargain host - but just for your "practice" sites - until you get a good handle on everything.

Host your own site, and maybe a couple of friends to start and see how it goes.

Hope this helps...

you can learn it through forum, get a reseller account and try manage it, slowly move on to dedicated server.

Like Gargoyle said, do a SEARCH (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s=) for kualo or kualo.com

Highly recommended.
