Hello:

Ive around 20 domains with Namecheap without any problems, but yesterday when I tried to register one domain I received this error message:

None of the domains you selected were registered. Either there was an error or the domains are already taken. Please try again. Please note that your credit card/ account will NOT be charged.

I registered the domain after it, but when I see my bank account I see:
04/01/2004 04/01/2004 9736 NAMECHEAP.COM 7,10 -
04/01/2004 04/01/2004 9736 NAMECHEAP.COM 7,10 -
04/01/2004 04/01/2004 9736 NAMECHEAP.COM 7,10 -
04/01/2004 04/01/2004 9736 NAMECHEAP.COM 7,10 -

You can see an overcharged.
My currency is EURO, so 7.10 Euros.

I have sent an email to namecheap, But I havent received any response.

Namecheap will refund me that money ?

NOTE: 9736 is the office number. Not the transaction number.

Looks like a glitch in the system. Give them a chance to reply to your support ticket. If no reply, try contacting the WHT member "enetwork". He represents namecheap in these forums, and I'm sure he'll be happy to handle it for you.

Long ago it happened something like that to me. I emailed support and they fixed it that same day.

enetwork will step in soon enough if it isnt resolved without you asking (or he has in the past).

I think this is just one of those cases where you wait.

I had the same problem last week with "operation timed out" and then the same error as you. Tried to register it again because the domain was still available but it kept saying domain already exists in database. I really like namecheap but yes this error has happened before -- and recently too.

Hello Kilian,
We actually did fix this problem yesterday afternoon before you emailed us by voiding the extra transactions and adding your domain to your account. Your credit card should be reflecting this soon. We also sent you an email. We apologize for the error you experienced.

Acts837, actually the problem you described occured within enom itself. We did contact them to get it corrected. You can email me if this has not been resolved for you at Rick@namecheap.com .
