I had signed up for an account with Netstartz on December 29, 2003 and have 3 mails from them on the same date confirming receipt of payment.
However, as mentioned in their mail, they have not set up my account. They have a modernbill support ticket system and I have posted 6 support tickets to date. I had even given credit for the fact that I had signed up during the New Year eve and hence, there might have been a delay. But a delay of about 10 days, sounds a little to much.
I have decided on not taking their account and have sent 5 mails to steven@netstartz.com, billing@netstartz.com, sales@netstartz.com and I get my mails sent back to me by admin@netstartz.com with a mail error message on the subject line.
I am actually afraid to sign up with any company paying by credit card and endure this kind of a pain.
Have any of you been cheated like this netstartz earlier? And is there any recourse?

I have an account with NetStartz and well have been with them for quite a few months now. Yeah I will admit they have had their downs that would make people 2nd guess their services but, I stuck around due to me thinking they would pull it together and well they did it. I don't plan on leaving them anytime soon unless they go under and or have their uptime decrease way below reasonable.

Or should they do not respond in few days time, do a chargeback.

With so many of us having burnt our fingers, I think it is time we had a "beware of" forum to list providers such as NetstartZ.

We have no intentions of "cheating" anyone or wrongfully taking any money. I have responded to your emails and have also refunded your payment, you should also recieve confirmation from our merchant provider.

Does anyone have their modernbill support url?
I've sent two tickets that are now both more than a month old with no reply. Netstartz forums are down now and now I can't find the link to the ticketing system. I've toughed it out since hoping things would get better. I'm glad things are going well for t c but I'm still having issues.
Am I wrong to assume that my tickets will eventually be answered? Or does the saying, "sqeaky wheel gets the grease" apply here and I should bombard Netstartz with messages?
Unfortunately, during this time I transferred a customer's business site over. I tell all my customers that I resell, by the way, and he keeps telling me to dump Netstartz and find someone reliable.
Problem is that I too, like vaanie, pre-paid *slaps forehead*. Never again. :(
Steven, please respond to my tickets.

i wish to have my money refunded as well. it has been a very annoying and disappointing experience with netstartz and all the things that the webmaster promised before did not come true.
i have lost a lot of business as a web designer..

It just happened! Steven just answered my two support tickets that I submitted over a month and a half ago!
Though I'm thrilled he answered them, I'm not sure how I should feel about this.
