You can't buy directly from Enom. You must find an Enom reseller that can sell you a 8.95 reseller account. Must be thousends of those resellers posting on these boards :D

Be aware though that you still need to fund the account with $ 100 before you can register domains.

An Enom retail account does not have that requirement. That is pay as you register and costs the same as a reseller account with the only limitation that you cannot create sub-accounts.

To get a $8.95 enom reseller account is Free.
if someone is trying to sell you a $8.95 enom reseller account don't buy it.

If you get a sub-account then you are a reseller of that reseller, your prices and services are dicated by the reseller above you.

If you later purchase a lower price per domain sub account then you should "push" all your domains from the old a/c to the new one and use up whatever credit you have left.

AFAIUI there are no refunds available.

You *can* get enom to upgrade you to an ETP account by payiong the appropriate deposit amount ($6950 for the 6.95 a/c) etc

All newly created sub-accounts are @ the 8.95 level - this is a rule set by enom, and so no they cant get their pricing reduced from that level.

no
you only can move your domains into the cheaper account then, if you get an old existing one from someone.
No reseller can set up NEW below 8.95 any more
