Hey everyone,

I was planning on renting a dedicated server. However I would have to install everything like, mysql, ftp, mail, dns, you know all the good stuff to host off of. The problem is I don't know anything about linux. I'm great in VBasic, and C++ but no linux. Probably because I've need found any good resources. Anyone have any good ideas to where I can get a good read online or perhaps a good book? Thanks

It takes experience.
Linux is not like windows. You read the small manual and you think you know it. It's much more then that.

But some books like Running Linux by Oreilly (oreilly.com) is probably the best book out there.
