How can I check the MX record of a domain?

It's not cPanel or anything. It's a RAQ server.

Isn't there a command?

I went to Samspade but it seems they disabled the MX check.

Thanks

dig mx domain.com from a nix command line.
Or try : http://www.webhostselect.com/whs/dig-tool.jsp

make sure you start with mx in the lookup box..

Ok here's the deal, the MX on a domain I have reads:

mydomain.com. 2207 IN MX 10 208.176.211.210.
mydomain.com. 2207 IN MX 20 fidget.mydomain.com.

There are TWO lines for the MX, it seems. I am trying to transfer this domain to a different server, but I want to set up the MX on the new server so that there are no email interruptions when I do.

The new server uses cPanel, and in cPanel, it seems there is only one box for MX. So how could I put both lines in for the MX change if cPanel only has one box?

It doesn't seem that the second MX would suffice alone, since it contains my domain name in it.

If you are moving the entire domain to a new host all should go fine. You change the name servers at your registra and domain will change across in 24-48 hrs at worst.
By default you new host should set everythign up automatically. It is not usually neccesay to add the mx record to cpanel. It's all done automatically on new account creation.

Hope it helps....

I am the host (via a reseller account), so the host does not have anything set up for the MX. I need to set it up myself.

The MX is not the default, its a CHANGED MX that the client requested. So I need to make sure the MX is set up on the new server I'm transferring to.

Need help please.

just create new accoutn in your WHM. The change name servers at registra. All shoudl go fine then.
Make sure you have setup email accounts on the new server.

Don't take this the wrong way, but your host should be able to help you with this issue....
