Whats the best one in your opinion? Does everyone use putty? Right now I'm using penguinet from siliconcircus.com, I like it alot better than putty. Just want to see if there is another that is beter before I buy the registration key.

I use SecureCRT..

It's rather expensive ($99 :eek2: ) but I've been real happy with it.

Eric's Telnet (Telnet 98)

Telnet98 (http://www.telnet98.com)

Shareware cost but it's one of the best SSH telnet clients I've used. Also uploading and downloading is quite easy.

Many moons ago I asked this same question, and the one I decided on and have been using all this time is SecureCRT. It's worked out great--it's easy to use, tons of features, and has never crashed once. http://www.vandyke.com/

I use TTSSH (SSH extensions to TeraTerm).

Tera Term Pro with the SSH addon is free and pretty good. I like it.

Secure CRT here too.. very solid bit of programming with plenty of goodies built in...

I like Secure CRT better, more features and can use console access, but putty is free and simple. Go Putty

Definitely SecureCRT for a Windows client and Open SSH for Unix, which is just reaffirming what a lot of other people here said, but I definitely think those are the best.

Yes, SecureCRT from vandyke.com and OpenSSH.

I use SecureCRT with AES-256. Try to decypher that on your PIII :stickout
