I have been in business for a little over four years now, I started out as a reseller and now I am co-located at a data center. The company is PerfectPresence.com and we are no longer just a web host. Perfect Presence Inc. includes a hosting company, CPA ad network, Co-Registration service, various software products and more. Since perfectpresence.com is not the easiest domain to remember, we are thinking of changing perfectpresence.com into the corporate web site and renaming the hosting service to fathub.com.

The downside is we have to start from scratch and build awareness around the name all over again but the name is catchy and easier to remember. What does everyone else think?

Doesn't matter that the first name's longer. . . . . It's flat out better.

For me giving up perfectpresence with 4 yrs marketing is not very sensible move from your part. Why dont you put that money to market your existing name???

Thanks for all the feedback. We are going to stick with perfectpresence.com and just build out our corporate web site on the .net address.
