I'm having some problems here. Whenever someone connects to my server via FTP the hostname of the server is shown. This is bad because I sell reseller accounts as well. So whenever someone connects they'll see raine-tech.com shown up. Is there a way that they'll see just like ftp.theirdomain.com or just an IP? What's currently happening is not acceptable so if anyone knows of a way please let me know, thanks.

Hmmm......, I don't apply web hosting service, so I don't have this kind of problem. But when I open my ftp to others, and don't want they see the domain name, I went to /etc/ftpaccess and modified the hostname. For exameple: hostname Debian. And when people login, they will see the host name as Debian.

It isn't the direct solution, but hopefully it could give you a hint.
