Any recommendation on good proxy server application?

I wish to stay behind my server while browsing sites. I have been getting few attacks recently on windows known vuln and quite irritated by it.

Just a little side note. Your ISP, 90 % chance wont allow you to scan for ips, ports, or any type of proxies. So i suggest you make sure its ok to "scan" with your ISP. If you scan when your ISP doesn't allow it, They will track you and phone you. Happens all the time and they will give you a warning first. Second time they might cancel your service.

I do not want any open proxy. Is it possible that I tunnel via my server?

I'm trying to access a site that has banned my ISP IP range and I need to get a US IP in order to get in. Therefore, I am thinking if I use my server IP instead of my localhost?
