Hello,
Is there any email software/package that integrates with the Raq interface and improves its capabilities. It is a pain to do simple email manuvering using the gui.
The first problem is you can only have one email forward. There is a workaround but it sucks. (ie forward to a mailing list ... which then forwards to everyone ...)
also I do not feel too comfortable doing manual edits. I will if I have to but I would rather the whole process be automated.
Anyone know of any mail gui that can be used??
thanks

I recommend you install NeoMail. It is a webmail package, and I think it would solve almost half of your problems.
Also, I recommend providing your users some basic e-mail manuals, like I have on my site so that users can do it for themself instead of e-mailing us again and again for it.
Just being nice to them and things can go fast and really easy too :)

Hello Omair,
I have neomail installed. And it works great as a email client.
That is not what I am looking for. I am looking for a email administration tool than what is available with the cobalt gui.
In the gui it only allows one forward per user.
It does not allow creation of a catch all user(s)
I understand both can be accomplished by editing config files .. but I am looking for something more consistent .. and that can be unleashed on users so I do not have to be involved every time they want to make changes to their forwards
thanks
David

Well,
Something that I would like to make clear is that you can't make even a single change in the Cobalt GUI. Do onething, and most chances are you might have to restore your RaQ.
Just a thought

I installed the webalizer pkg ... and it replaced the cobal stats page ...
No one has had (or mentioned) problems. That is kinda what I am looking for ... a smooth integration with the raq gui

Thats wrong(for RAQ3 any way), I have changed lots of stuff on the GUI in my RAQ3, I have added menu's, removed some images, changed the whole look of it before (changed it back) etc etc.
You just have to make backups before you change any thing.

Can you show us a demo? I am curious to see all the changes.
If possible, please email me at omair@hostingbetter.com to tell me how to see a demo.

I -have- made changes to the GUI a few times, but I have allways taken it back, there is just a few changes that I keep (taking some pictures off and rewording some of the text)
I normaly change one sites GUI (my own site) to test things, I am curently working on a redirection system that I was hoping to build into the GUI, but its too messy.
Changes to the GUI -can- be done, but the way its been made is hard to keep on top off.
If I make any more changes, I will take a screen shot and post them on WHT.
