This is just to let everyone know of my good experience with pwebtech.com (pegasus)

I needed a new dedicated in a hurry.

I spoke (rather exchanged email and used Instant Message) to jason. Then faxed in the contract at 11:30pm yesterday.

He promised it would be done before 6pm today... and it is now 3pm and it is up ... I ssh'ed in ... all the specs are right ... connection is a little faster than my previous provider. Pretty cool

Obviously time will tell on connectivity and support issues. But as far as professionalism up till now, I am impressed.

PWEBTECH is improving and becoming a very good host. I talk to ED and he is very friendly. If you need a dedicated server no doubt you should choose pwebtech or ventures online. Ed treats customers like partners, if you do bad they do bad. :)

I just faxed off my contract with pwebtech after a few months of decision making.

Ed is a cool guy. Very helpful and accommodating.

I am a newbie and unlike most other dedicated providers they explained things how they were - basically that you cannot rely on CPanel and WHM to do everything and they will not hold your hands trhough everything. Some providers were saying "you need no knowledge of Linux to run our boxes, CPanel will do it all!".

Just wanted to thank everyone for helping me with my decision, WHT is great! Wait a few days and i'll start asking really stupid questions about setup and maintaining my box.

Anyway, heres to the future and hopefully a successful step in our business path.

It actually took me 2 days to get this server :D
(very rush job) but I think it worked out .. we shall see

But I have some experience with ded hunting ... after getting 5 previous servers ...

gets easier ... easier to see through the bull and figure out legit providers ...

WHT helps the most ... only place I have found you get opinions both good and bad :D
