Thanks, mkaufman 09-27-2001, 04:37 PM I installed webmin 0.3 on the office server, just to play around with - not many features yet... I will try out 0.4 and let everybody know how it is though :) Justin S 09-27-2001, 04:42 PM Webmin and web.cp are two completely different things. NORRITT 09-27-2001, 05:56 PM 0.4 has as far as I know no big new features NVB 10-12-2001, 08:33 PM I have downloaded web.cp and untarred it in my root area. What is the procedure for installing it? mkaufman 10-13-2001, 01:41 PM Originally posted by Justin S Webmin and web.cp are two completely different things. My mistake..meant web.cp Anyway, tried it out and it's pretty good Jag 10-13-2001, 10:08 PM That is not too bad at all, especially considering Felix isnt getting much help if any on developing it. Last time we talked he said he works on it when he gets chance so my hats off to him for doing such a good job so far. Keep up the good work, there are a lot of people that could really benefit from a free control panel system such as the new guys starting out. Well we now have a new guy, Tom (tom@can-host.com) that works on the end-user features of web.cp (web file manager, scripts like guestbooks, counter, etc) So expect just more & more good coming, the current product is not the final one :D I also think this can help not only the 'poor' companies... because from what I have seen in most (expensive) commercial products, the price does not match the features that web.cp already/will have IMHO. |
