Has anybody out there had any experiance with
http://www.spiders-web.com
They are an English hosting company, I had a number of sites with them but they went out of business or something, even though there websites still there. They don't answer their mail and the phone number listed is out of service.

I can't even get a response to change my domain names over to my new hosting company, they all still point to their servers. My websites were down for about a month so I sent them a load of emails and got no response. Then the website came back up and it now takes about 15 minutes for one page to download. I'd be interested to hear from anybody else who has had experiance with these clowns.

I'm afraid I've had no experience with them, but I can suggest two things.

1. I noticed the words 'unlimited bandwidth' which is not a good indication, as there is really no such thing. If you do a search on this forum you'll discover many discussions on this topic and why many companies seem to fail with the above words.

2. I suggest you talk to a gentleman here on the forums by the name of Eddie (aka Technics) - he's based in Bradford and he might be able to assist in some way.

Eddie, I'm not sure what we can do, but if you can brainstorm any ideas (much like the forum did with *cough**hack*TH*hack**cough*) then it would be much appreciated.

Finally, with the domain names, do you have control or does the company have full control of the domains?

Good luck.

If you are registered as the technical or admin contact in network solutions database for your domains you can switch them yourself. Most hosts though will switch you iover to them free of charge just ask, so you dont have to mess with network solutions. If you are not registered as the admin to tech contat in Network SOlutions database you must contact them via phone, they have a procedure they will follow. To find out if you are listed as contact visit http://www.networksolutions.com and click on whois, and type in your domain names.
