I have paid over $200 in Pay-Per-Click ad's and such on the internet for website promoting but none of it seems to really pay off.

There must be some service and/or company that offers advertising that gets results without the hefty price.

If anyone has any information to share regarding website promotion and getting hits, please respond.

Your response will not only help me but also help the many others that view this thread.

There are many different ways to advertise your site and your business also. I recommend you to start website promotion from this sites http://goto.com and http://findwhat.com.
I think that you can add information about your hosting services in the Hosting directories. The list of the hosting directories you'll find using Yahoo.

For $50 I would say you will get couple of signups. Depends on your plans also.
