Hey all,

I've just received an email, Edge Panel 2.11 is out.

From their email:
"We do understand that most of you would prefer to have access to the source code of Edge Panel. As a company we can no longer allow access to the source. We are doing this for several reasons and one of them is the ability to control the distribution and development of the product as well as for security reasons."

Well, it is still free, so here we go:

http://www.renaxsolutions.com/audit/product_order.php

Any opinions on its usability?

tnx

What do you mean by Usability?

If you like it use it, we're using it right now :) The Only problem is that we can't use the Email Pipping Feature because Alec said us to wait to the Paid Version :cartman:

So does the email piping still not work in this release? any new features, some reason i can't hit the site atm.

Is it possible for someoen to put a link to the file for me, since i can't access thier site. or is that against thier rules?

Well, It can work but It has some Bugs (Alec Said), Basically is the Same Only with some Bugs Corrected... And we can't put a Link because we can't redistribute it... :)

Cheers

The file seems to be protected (as it should be, imo), so:

This release was to hold everyone off until their real next version is out which is going to cost $$ :D

EdgePanel users, please remember to upload files in binary format or else your installation will not work.

Just my 2cents worth :)

Take care all. EP rocks :P

Does any know how this version of EdgePanel compare to OneOrZero?

I think it will boil down to personal preferences, as well as what you need in a helpdesk. We use One or Zero and is ok with it as it has the basic features needed in a helpdesk. Bugs wise, there's bugs in both. But it being free, there's not much to complain about.

There are some bugs in EP, but it looks like a pretty good piece of software. If I paid for EP already, do I have to pay for the next version?

Why don't you try directing that to renaxsolutions?
