I am looking for remote sysadmin / support job or performing one-time tasks like kernel recompile, configuring server, installing software, securing systems etc.
I'm very flexible regarding rewards, which can be either per month/hour/ticket or one-time fees for specific tasks.
I have 9 years of experience with all kinds of opensource OSs/tools and windows software.

Perfect knowledge of following systems:
Linux - RedHat, Debian, Slackware, SuSe, Gentoo
FreeBSD / OpenBSD / NetBSD
Sun Solaris
Win2000/Win2003/Win XP
Cisco devices (CCNA)

Expert knowledge of:
- CPanel/WHM, Plesk, Ensim, WHM-Autopilot, Virtuozzo, Fantastico
- Apache / PHP / MySQL / Perl
- ProFTPD , PureFTPd , Wu-ftpd
- Sendmail, Exim, Qmail , Postfix
- Samba, Snort, Squid, CVS, APF, IPF, IPFW, IPtables
- Nessus, Nagios, MRTG, RRD Tool, Openwebmail, SquirrelMail
- chroot / jail implementation
- custom kernels (2.6.0, ac-patches, grsecurity, OWL)

I've always been very concerned about security (paranoid ) and stability so anybody who hires me should have a good sleep knowing I'm taking care of his/her box.
I've been working for webhosting industry for few years now I got to know CPanel/WHM, Pleask, Ensim perfectly. In the meantime did a lot of projects which included building and designing traffic shapers / transparent bridges / GuI tools and many many more faciliating monitoring availibilty and security of servers on a daily basis.
Currently I'm located in Chicago, IL (CST) and spend ~ 18 hours in front of the computer every day.

Anyone interested in my services please PM me, email me at:

"- Samba, Snort, Squid, CVS, APF, IPF, IPFW, IPtables"
"APF"; it different seeing your own software/script quoted by people; surreal :P

It's there just because sometimes you have to install what clients want.
