Hello there,

I have used Btinternet for around 2 years now and its suddently turned terrible.
Has anyone noticed just random disconnects?
REALLY slow browsing, timeouts etc?

I am on 64k isdn and it seems im using a carrier piegons carrying my packets back and forth..

Another question, anyone using an ISP in the UK with freecalls? 24/7 for a small monthly fee?

Cable and DSL are not an option as im not in the area to get either.

I'm on BTinternet..... ITS CRAP!!!!!!

Its the slowest, poorest, most unreliable service its ever been my misfortune to use. After 6 months of arsing around they've finally decided they cant even give me ISDN, even after replacing part of the local line, I'm stuck with V.90 treacle and 2 hour kickoffs.

The sooner BT loses its monopoly of ISDN and ADSL/xDSL installations etc. the better.

I've used many ISP's and BT are the worst of them all.

I didn't hear about Btinternet .Can you give me some idea about this.

i have never used btinternet but I do have some experince dealing with them on behalf of a couple of my clients and they seemed like an okay comapny.

Well I have ADSL from BT at home, and in my office I have a 2mbps dedicated line, and I've never had any problems with it, although they do dominate the market, theres not a lot we can do about it, I'm more than happy with what I've got.

Its, better to go with a well know company rather than some newly opened company that offers cheaper services.

I prefer paying the extra £££s, as I know that I can bi**h at someone only a phone call away.
