I have been looking up reseller accounts, and I am having troubles figuring out which site to go with. I am needing input, and information based on personal experiences. I am needing negative experiences as well, not just good ones!

I really like crediblehost.com's packages, plus their deal going on now is extremly tempting. What is everyone's view and personal experience with them?

I am also looking into netrillium.net, they seem to have some great plans, just wanting to get some more information.

Also I have been looking at insiderhosting.com, though I have a friend who had a bad experience with them. I dont know the details, I just know she recently switched due to something. My friend has'nt gotten back to me as to why she is suddently switching. I'm not ruling out insiderhosting because of one bad experience when I dont know the details to it.

/edit/ - I also dont know what types of questions I should be asking, concidering I am fairly new to all of this. I know I should emai them questions and time their reply. Quicker means better most of the time right?

Bonnie from CredibleHost posts around here a lot, and from what I've seen is very reliable. If you use the Search [ http://www.webhostingtalk.com/search.php?s= ] feature, you can find out about them through previous reviews!

All I have been finding is great comments about that place. Just hopeing to find some negative aspects. Or maybe try and figure out some more stuff. I am extremly new to all of this, and I think going with a reseller and being able to host some friends domains and sites would be great.

It is, that's what I did originally. However, the chance of finding some truly negative feedback about them will be between slim and none.

I guess not finding any truly negative comments is a good thing. I'm always very skeptical about things that always have such great feedback and reviews.

The only reason to be skeptical is if theres a small amount of feedback, or it's all by 'join-review-leave' type people. But I'll let some other people comment now. :)

My friend is credible host right now, and today one of their servers got hacked (I don't know the details). Communication is bad. Read their forums.

I sent crediblehost an email before, and never got a reply.

Read the post by Incognito in this thread it contains very sage advice for anyone looking for hosting around here.
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=219042&perpage=15&pagenumber=3

And I will add to that advice by saying WHT is not the be all, end all of the hosting world.
Google is your friend run anyone on your list through google and see what others on the net may have had to say about them.

Today one of our servers was comprimised due to a clients insecure script. Fortunately only index pages were replaced and no real damage was done.

Unfortunately hacking does happen, though I am not happy nor proud about this incident, I can say that in almost 18 months of business, this is our first hacking & we will attempt to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Our servers are up2date with all security patches, we run firewalls & other security software. We also warn our clients to secure their scripts in their welcome e-mail.

While I would like to be able to check that every client has applied neccessary patches, this is next to impossible.

Several months ago we did have e-mail problems, so there may have been some people who wrote to us during that time and did not get a reply. This is not the norm.

We are not perfect, although we try. You will find some negative feedback about us, but I don't think to much. After all you can't please everyone, and if it was all positive feedback I wouldn't believe it myself.

Hmm, to delete all index pages would require root privileges. Sounds nasty.

Thus far, they've been great about responding quickly to my support requests; their staff has been friendly and courteous; and best of all they're using great bandwidth.

I'd prefer to wait before giving them a thumbs up, however. Insiderhosting recently purchased Hostradius and I'm not quite certain if they've ironed out their policies on what specific hosting features are going to be offered, and those that are given a little asterisk:)

Always two sides to a story, and ours is simply that we like to get paid for services rendered :)
