Lately I have noticed that there actually isn't a lot of local places that are doing site hosting and considering offering it to local business as a feature of my services.

Wondering what the best way to go about it would be? I don't have the technology to set up a server, but thought that I could get into a reseller account and offer the service through them.... Is there still money to be made doing this?

I am sure that I will now be getting some offers from people on the board.

There will be a lots of advantages if you start earlier. Web hosting really got its potentials.

I will recomend you to start as a reseller. Get a host that able to help and you can learn something from.

And this is forum is a very good resources for you to start your own web hosting business.

Reselling is the way to go for the beginner, no doubt about it. Also, make sure you advertise locally such at your Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club's etc. Also, local shows are good places to setup a table in introduce yourself into the market.

Thanks for all of the help so far !!

I am a member of the Chamber of Commerce actually - so want to have it as a value added service and hopefully something that can bring some monthly revenue.

There is quite a bit to learn obviously, but I am up to the challange....
