I am looking at a host, and I have found that they provide these specs for colocation of a server:

Space Per U1

30 GIGs of Transfer
Unlimited Remote Reboots
Toll-Free Tech Support
24/7 Tech Support
Qwest Comm Data Center
Tape Back up Rotation (for extra price)


All of this comes to $100.00/month per U. Is that alittle high? Im not looking for other offers, just to see if people believe that it is a bit high?

That's about right.

If they charge $3 per gig, 30 gb would cost $90 per month.
The other $10 is for rackspace.

If they charge $2 per gig, 30gb would cost $60 per month.
The other $40 is for rackspace.

i'd say that's pretty good. although i would like to see more bandwidith (guess i'm just getting use to seeing many dedicated hosts offering lots of bandwidth for 99.99;) ) still as asia shows it's right in line with actual costs.

i am sure you could get a better price if you used more bandwidth. otherwise that is not too bad.

Depending on what kind of bandwidth that is, that's inexpensive.

For one server that price is very good.
