Well, I signed up with them on Nov. 25th, It took them 2 weeks and 3 phone calls from me to even create my account. Now that I transferred my domain and got my site uploaded, I can't access E-Mail, my ftp site is empty, and I can't access vDeck, but my site works. I called them yesterday and they said it's all because my domain hasn't propagated yet, even though it has, because everything was pointing to the right place looking at DNS results. The guy told me it still had 12 hours to propagate. (can they tell?) Now it's over 48 hours since I last called them and everything is still the same. I'm about to close this deal unless something dramatically changes. I just called and there's no answer, and it seems that whenever I call I get one of the two same guys on the phone. It's too bad too because there servers seem really fast (for my site anyway). Another funny thing that I noticed is that they have the same 800 number for Billing, Support, and Sales. They don't have any sort of menu or forwarding when you call, so it seems the # goes to the same line and a tech person just picks up. But for sales and billing they have business hours listed, but for tech it says 24/7...I don't know what I'me getting at with this...just seems weird. It just seems that I'm calling somebodies house when I call. The least they could of done was change by billing date for those 2 weeks sense their service was useless to me....

Now I gotta go through the whole ordeal of finding another host....

Thanks
Roman

Domains do you usually take time to propagate but not 2 weeks. Most take about 24 hours.

It took them 2 weeks to actually physicly create my account. It has been more than 48 (more like 72 now) hours since I changed my domain info, and it has fully propagated.

If you transferred your account, be advised CPanel has a "permissions bug" when it copies accounts.

You need to change the permissions on your HTML (if its 644 - should be 755), and have your host ensure that httpd.conf has also been updated correctly.

Also, your public_html group ownership may have to be "nobody" vice the owner.

We've run into this also, although we normally don't blame it on other issues.

Good luck. Let me know if that fixes the problem.

Cheers
Jeff

Now the guy tells me the vitual hosting packages only have WebMin, which is a pain in the @ss unless your way around linux..It has waay more tools than I need...Seems like it should be the other way around, a simple control panel on virtual and WebMin on dedicated server packages.....
