i have mysql-3.23.41-pc-linux-gnu-i686.tar on my RaQ4r right now. it was installed by inline.net for a iHTML shopping cart for one of my web site customers. if i uninstall this via rpm and then install the newer RaQ3-RaQ4-MySQL-3.23.37-1.pkg from http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/packages/raq/4/ should i expect problems with the iHTML shopping cart? is this a risky venture in general?

why move down a few versions ?

just to keep it a .pkg. i'm no Linux guru so i wanted to keep my RaQ4r as "standard" as possible. besides i still can't get the new version of PHP 4.0.6 to communicate with mySQL.
