I'm trying to Change hosts, on a Domain i bought at Register.COM
I cant, for the life of me, find out where i change the IP for my domain.
All i see is a change for DNS (NS?)
Does the IP go by itself?
Anybody, Please Advice!
Thanks

Your name server will point the name to a IP. The domain name must point to your name servers. Just point the name to your hosts or servers nameservers..........

If you want to manage your own IP pointers with Register.com, you must first have the DNS with Register.com's name servers. You can easily swithch it back to their defaults with the manage DNS button. I manage 30+ domains with Register.com's service. With some I specify the DNS for one of my hosts, but for my dedicated server I directly manage the IP pointers. Both systems have been 100% reliable for me since I started using Register.com nearly two years ago.
They are not the cheapest game in town, but they are reliable. Plus I have an affiliate banner on a couple of my sites and that saves me 20% on all fees that I have incurred so far - and has earned me a few bucks to boot...
Good luck. C'ya,
