View Full Version : intraspatial/telaserv?
sammasati 09-23-2001, 09:56 PM Does anyone have anything to say on this provider/reseller?
<--! // edit
Well, I have done some searching, didn't find anything at first because I was looking under Intraspatial. Seems Telaserv has a good reputation with those few posters that gave their opinions. There was however very little specific info.
Anyone know:
how is their up time?
helpfulness in resolving difficult situations with client's accounts?
post sales support?
// -->
Chicken 09-24-2001, 12:43 AM I haven't used them for reselling, but for what I have used them for, they've been extremely helpful. I'm not sure they have resellers here on the boards or not.
{NIRMANI} 09-25-2001, 09:06 AM Well, We use their service; So far has been good apart from few little things. Uptime has been good. No real drawbacks of their service (atleast till now)
If you can drop me a mail with your specific questions I will reply you ;)
Ericwenlong 09-25-2001, 09:46 AM I highly recommend their service.

Can you elaborate?
• Problems you have had
• Situations they have gone out of their way to help
• Do they stay up-to-date with new technology
CoreyC 09-26-2001, 04:28 PM I am a former reseller of this host, and would like to offer some information.
Their staff has been VERY helpful for the past 10 months or so I have been working with them. David, the man who I believe over looks all of their operations, has been amazing in helping me in evolving from a reseller account to a dedicated server.
Always a quick response time. In fact, they have a habit of contacting me if they don't hear from me for a few days...
These guys are willing to help their resellers out in any reasonable way possible.
I am not affiliated with intraspatial in anyway, other than being a dedicated server client. I have enjoyed the quality service I have received from them thus far.
The uptime is superb. There were
some problems back when they were based at the VDI data center, but I have not noticed any outages at all since they have moved to above.net.
I would certainly recommend these guys to anybody.
spider 09-26-2001, 06:53 PM Hello,
I am one of Telaserv/Intraspatial resellers.
I am VERY happy doing business with David, owner of Telaserv/Intraspatial.
He is very helpful, fast and friendly. The best thing about him is that he is always "there" for me to answer my questions. Up-time is always excellent, they just updated (again) their servers a month ago, and no problem at all. :)
In my opinion, he knows what he's doing. Yep...just like Corey C said, David sometimes contacts me to make sure that everything runs smoothly.
I recommend Telaserv/Intraspatial to anyone who wants to start their webhosting business or just host their domain(s).
This is my honest opinion. :)
Cheers,
Adam
{NIRMANI} 09-26-2001, 10:49 PM Yes, David has been very fast & helpful for me also. If you are looking for flexible & headache-free provider, then go with them ;)
Yes, you can sleep peacefully at night :D :D :D

Telaserv
I know david the guy behind TelaServ and he runs a tight ship :)
ozwebhost 09-28-2001, 10:50 AM What is left for me to say... Ericwenlong, Nirmani, CoreyC and Spider have said it all... As a reseller, we moved all our accounts from Alabanza servers to Telaserv with the assistance of David and his crew with not even a hiccup... So smooth that we did not have one customer complain.
Support is like having David sit in a chair next to you.
It has been a pleasure doing business with Telaserv..

I don't know about their uptime but what I know is that their support and customer handling is EXCELLENT!... Just recently I ordered one of their services and being a total newbie I asked a lot of questions in which they were happy to answer. I even messed up the installation part making them spent hours trying to come up with a fix..(no extra charge of course). Hmmm.. Good support.. something rarely found in most net companies these days.
Personally, from my experience I would recommend this provider/company!!
sammasati 09-30-2001, 07:17 PM Well, I have just signed up with Telaserv, and I just have to echo the opinions you all have offered.
Thanks for the advice. Things look like they are going to be good this time.
My first reselling provider was *****. Nightmare; need I say more.
David is very on the ball, and I am looking forward to growing a business with them.
chaos 09-30-2001, 11:18 PM I've been reselling with Telaserv for a while now and have had only good experiences with them. David has always been helpful with anything I have needed a hand with... and have a really quick response time. I've experienced no problems with them in the past, and the uptime and reliability is excellent.
{NIRMANI} 09-30-2001, 11:25 PM Yes, You have made the right decision.
Good luck;)
spider 10-01-2001, 11:13 AM Sammasati,
Trust me, you will have great experience doing business with David.
You just made the right decision. :)
Good luck, my friend. :)
(SH)Saeed 10-02-2001, 05:01 AM David helped me a lot when I was starting out and was very helpfull during the time I knew him.
tourguy 01-19-2002, 09:20 PM I had been very happy with netfirms' speed. I don't need many extra features. I used cnet's speed meter and tested some sites by netfirms and telaserv, the results show consistantly that netfirms has better speed.
More than half of my readers are Taiwanese, the rest in north America. With overseas readers in mind, my major concern is speed. I had netfirms for a year and was happy, but after reading so many here raving about telaserv, I was tempted to see if it's faster.
Do I just need to trust the results from cnet's speed meter? sites with netfirms showed 30+ ms ping time, while telaserv showed 90+ ping time.
Currently I am tempararily have a free host and would like to settle on a paid host fast.
