Because this threads are deleted, too! ;) Chicken 09-25-2001, 12:34 AM Heh, quite true. it isn't that we won't discuss it (feel free to email), just that I'm not willing to discuss it on the forum, as it isn't a topic that we'll debate. Threads gets tossed for reasons, the guidelines are plainly posted and have been shortened and simplified as much as possible. Believe me, I'd rather spend my time reading posts and adding to discussions than wasting it on these things. Really I would. I've said this before, but I'll mention it again: This forum is big, and while we just started moderating to help Matt out, I think overall the board is fairly clean and everyone (for the most part) really tries to help people when they need a place to turn to. Yep, there have been isolated problems, still are every day, but *overall* things run pretty smoothly. This isn't due to us. There are only 5 of us. This is mostly due to the 6,400 current members who (again, for the most part), are here to learn, contribute, have fun, etc. If you want to let the few people ruin the whole experience, then that's up to you, but I choose to ignore the few problems. I deal with the problems, but I try to focus on the rest of the forum. Most of my posts aren't telling people where to go (if you know what I mean) :D The past couple of days (not including today) there were over 1,000 posts submitted and we didn't get a single report. I even sent a test because I was sure something was wrong, heh. Nope, it worked fine. Now, this is due to you guys, not us. I think that's pretty incredible  |
