FOR SALE: Nox Raq Web Hosting Company

Overview: Company has been up and running for over 6 months now, approximately 30 websites on the server bringing in approximately $190 in monthly revenue, and over $900 in yearly revenue. Nox Raq has had one bad spell of downtime causing loss of around 3 clients, but other than that, excellent reputation.

Details:
- 1 Cobalt RAQ4i Server with 256MB memory and 20GB hard drive + 300GB transfer a month - $99 a month
- Revecom billing system, already setup and running ($50 setup already paid) – (http://www.revecom.com)
- THE DOMAINS:
Noxraq.com
Noxwebhosting.com
Planetwebhosting.net
Noxhosting.com
Noxhost.com
Hosthappy.com

- Highly Detailed Webpage made by professional designer (http://www.noxraq.com)
- Many scripts that were purchased and some that were also written, including the following scripts:
- Musita – Bandwidth monitoring ($70)
- Auto setup Script ($90)
- Helpdesk Ticket System ($50)
- Database setup and email notification (wrote)
- Client setup notification (wrote) – not needed anymore but will give script
- Other scripts which are good to use, no price tag on them, but they are worth money also

Comments: Nox Raq is making profit every month, like around $100 plus yearly profit, all it needs is more customers and it could be very successful business and make tons of money. The servers are through rackshack.net, which means NO CONTRACTS and you are purchasing the server month to month. The server had a $250 setup which we paid for. I am looking into selling this whole company, not individual clients or anything like that, I want to swap the whole thing into someone else’s name and switch it over, with no strings attached. - If you want we have a 2nd server which we might keep because it has our own private websites, it already has DNS setup on it for the second name server, and is ready to have sites added to it with ease… and I would be willing to sell the second server also.. that would save you a $250 setup. Anything else just contact me personally at chris@noxraq.com and I can send you information on how to contact me by phone etc…

BIDDING STARTS AT $2000 – Well over $3000 has been invested in this company on miscellaneous things including scripts, server costs, ADVERTISMENT, and our man hours on scripting and work put into company, and also the web design work.

I don’t want to get into discussion on forums about details on company… Just email me for questions, and I can send you my phone number to talk etc… AND THE BIG QUESTION!!! – Why am I selling? – I am going into secondary education, and also am working at the same time, and I don’t have time to build this business, even though I would love too… - The one and only reason… no time…

Thanks,
Chris

Forgot to say where you got that dedicated server...

rackshack.net

Why sell it like that? It is like selling your customers...I do not see a good reputation in that. If you knew you were going to start a buisness, you should have thought about this before you made that decision.

You're asking for over 2x yearly revenue. Taking into account the current state of the market, I think this won't generate much interests. People are having problems selling for 6 months revenue, much less 24 months.

Just some friendly advice.

We are currently looking into purchasing several hosting companies to expand our client base. I must say that this isn't a good deal to make.

I am posting this to give you some advice and rethink it. Although, there's always someone out there who will fall into this. I looked at your packages and they are on the lower scale of things. Lots of small accounts. For anyone to invest in a 24 month deal will mean that it will take them over 36 months to be profitable. With that said, I personally won't purchase any company for that.

Good luck to you. I just wanted to share some thoughts on the matter.

I don't really think this sounds like that good of a host. You have bad reviews at tons of sites, like FindISP and HostSearch, and currently all your sites point to the "Congratulations on purchasing a RAQ" page, except for a couple of them which point to a Digimon/Pokemon page??? LOL... sounds like a professional business

Why is everyone gettign on him, hes trying to sell his business because obv. he couldnt run it, which might explain the bad reviews, but hes doing the right thing, if he cant run it right then the best thing for him to do is sell it off to someone who can, whether its priced to high or not i dont know but i dont think its fair for you to give him such a hard time... just my 2cents

I'm just stating the facts. I don't think it's fair for someone to read this post and buy it without knowing that the business has an awful reputation. The business is not worth $2000, and someone could most likely build another business for less than that and start out with a clean slate. In all honesty, his site looks like a good site, and I would consider buying it if it we're alot cheaper. Maybe around 6 months worth of profits. I'm sorry if my post came off as me giving him a hard time, but if he expects to sell a business, he better be prepared for negative comments about it, especially when the negative comments are %100 true.

And the company failed, regardless of how much money was put into it, I really don't see how you justify asking $2000 for it.

Only making $190 in profit a month? Whats that all about?

For $2000 you had better show a better investment than $190.00 a month.

Less if you take into account their monthly expenses.
