Hello,

Version 2.0 has many improvements over the Original BanPro HTML Editor/FTP client and since earlier sales on WHT were such a success I've decided to offer Branded versions of the improved Website Builder here for just $25 for the remainder of 2003!

That price will include full branding of the software to your company name and placement of your web-banner sized company logo (where the current BanPro.net logo in the demo is) which is a link that will launch the user's default browser to your website.

Every aspect of the software will be branded to your site/company, and your customers will never know it came from someone else.

With the added FTP client and graphics package (described below) this is a great resource to offer your current and prospective hosting customers who are always searching to stretch their hosting fee dollars.

While the DEMO listed below is a simple zipped .exe file to be used for testing purposes only, the actual branded versions will come with a full Windows Installation Setup program for you to distribute, making your branded editor a much more professional piece of software to offer your customers.

A demo of the improved version can be found at:
http://banpro.net/bphe20demo.zip

Here's a screen shot of the editor:

This software works on all Win95 and above systems. Requires I.E. 5 or above be installed.

Editor features:

- Supports HTML 4.0, PHP, Java and other common web scripting languages
- Single click instant HTML tags (no need to type them all out)
- Instant FORMS creation
- Instant META tags
- One-click FRAMES creation
- FTP upload Manager for instant publishing of your pages to the web (can be customized to your server IP)
- In-depth Help file so even those with little or no knowledge of HTML can create a web page in minutes
- Hexadecimal HTML color picker
- Test Browser (WYSIWYG) for previewing your code as you create it
- Plus much more...

Also, the Branded Website Builder comes packaged with over 200 pieces of logo and banner (many animated) graphics which may be passed on to your customers as an extra value. They will be free to manipulate and use the clipart in whatever way they wish.

The graphics are not included in the demo version above, but a small sample of them may be seen here:

I've done business with Scott a few times. I have to say he is very professional, friendly and prompt, and I would do business with him again
This is a cool little tool and he will brand with your co. info.
Nice incentive!!

The website is down. Sounds great, I hope to see it in action.

jondolar,

Yeah, we seem to have a server burp at the moment. Sorry. Tech support is on the case and the problem should be resolved shortly.

I hope you will check back again later and apologize for the problems.

Thanks,
Scott

Hi

I have only looked at the program for a few seconds but the first thing I noticed was the positioning of the cursor when one of the code applet buttons (center, link etc) is pressed.

The cursor is placed at the end of the code, outside the tags?

That would be considerably annoying after a while I would guess.

Is there any possibility of this being fixed before purchase?

Thanks

MooPoo, this is something I've been working on for the next update release (version 2.01) which will be made available for free to everyone who purchases version 2.0

There are a couple of minor things like cursor placement after an instant tag is placed which aren't really bugs, but can be handled differently to make use of the editor easier which will be addressed with the version 2.01 release.

I don't have an actual release date for that version yet. I'm shooting for mid to late January, give or take.

As I said, version 2.01 will be made available freely to everyone who purchased a branded version 2.0 from me, and they will be contacted when it is ready.

Thanks,
Scott

I've downloaded the .zip file and tried to open it w/winzip - I got an archive error.

Will try again.

It worked on the second try.

Can you explain what the referenced Microsoft Copyrights mean under information?

mcopeland, The MS copyright is regarding the operating system (Windows) on the PC in that information box. Below that you'll see the notice that the Editor was created by Bannon Productions, and below that (depending on your version of Windows) you may see a posting of the physical memory (RAM) installed on your PC along with how much is currently being used / and how much is free.

This is the common format for an "About" box, and not meant to imply in ANY way that the Website Builder is a MS product.

Thanks,
Scott

Thanks Scott but I think I will wait for vers. 2.01 so I know that they will have the fixes.

As you said yourself you dont know when this will come out so I dont want to be waiting forever for the updates I am after.

Thanks
