Hey guys/gals

Do you know how can one check for the list of expired or close to expiry domain names? I remember coming across a site like this before?

ps: I just signed up for a namebargain.com $5.99 domain name. I think they're offering it till month end

thanks!

Hey, thanks for the tip. The whois.net tool is really cool.

Glad to be of assistance. It's a very useful site indeed.

Another site you might want to consider is http://www.domainmailings.com which does the hard work for you and looks for expired domains on a certain 'theme' (e.g. e-biz, time, etc. etc.)

Domain Name: RESERVEME.COM
Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, INC.

In theory, once it expires, two things will happen. One, a 30 day waiting period that lasts antwhere from 30 days to 2+ years. Two, this was how it *was* and NetSol has been keeping expired domains and auctioning them off. Speaking of, I've never seen where one would go to check for this auction... hmmm. I hate going to the N-word's site, but might have to poke around.

Ohh point I was trying to make is that don't expect to be able to go to 000domains on Oct. 15th and get the domain.
