hi,

a domain name i am interesting now shows as DETAGGED, it has only recently lapsed (5 sep)

i understand that no one exactly knows when or if it may be released will be, but what does anyone have any experience with gettign one of these domain names in this situation

the domain is a .co.uk

If the domain shows "detagged" then the name is still registered and not available for reregistration. The person/company who registered it will have to get it retagged or transfer the domain to a different registree.

I have had domains retagged in the past for clients (.co.uk's) It requires the relevant people to fax nominet and they'll do the rest.

Best thing to do is speak to nominet or email them (www.nic.uk)
