Hi I run a web site call MDAustralia (http://www.mdaustralia.com) it has been running for a little over a month, I personally and other users seem to run into DNS problems trying to connect to my website, it happens here and there off and on. I think the error number was 205. I am user Spidersaid.com as my host and godaddy as my registrar. Who is to blame? If my website is down so is my business until its back up. What should I do?

there is nothing wrong on the Godaddy side from what I see.....

It happened to one of my clients before and it was a error on our side. But I'm not sure if its the same problem for you though.

If it was the same problem, ask your host to check if their named consist of

zone "yourname.com" {
type master;
file "/var/named/yourname.com.db";
};

Sometimes a typo causes that problem.

I dont think its your registar.

Contact your host. See what they have to say. If its their problem they should be able to fix it. I have never run into a problem with the registar being the problem.

Ask your host to check if your DNS entry is listed twice in /etc/named.conf
