i got like 10 from this friggin' aol dating service, it annoyed me to the point where i just said "fsck off!" and blocked *.aim.com in my spam control settings on ensim.

Then, pretty much all but 5 were topic reply notifications from WHT .

Over 100 a day in my old e-mail address, but I recently ditched it because of all the spam. Now I get 1 or 2 a day with my new e-mail address.

hmm... now that I think about it, I get hundreds, but my spam assasin blocks 98% of it :)

The Dude :) ''Thanx Bush'' :angry: Good Lord now it's Bush's fault about spam? Seems to be spam was out of control before legislation which just went into effect. You can thank the people who buy, respond to spam ads.

Most of my mail is friggin' spam...

Has anyone else noticed an increase in cable descrambler, Viagra, and "enlargement" ads? Who buys that crap anyway? Nm... don't answer that. :stickout:

I only ask because I get over 300 spams a day on average... mostly harvested from the whois database (although one email address I have NO idea how they got it)

Real email, I probably get around 25 at home and about 100 at work.

I get probably 2500 a day. Sick amounts of spam and surprisingly, a lot of junk that was meant for someone. Mostly from domains I pickup off the drop.

Oh yeah I get quite a few of those where I get a domain I didn't realise was an expired one and then get bombarded with all their junk email

Including spam, I get to my personal accounts about 300+ a day.
To my business email account I get approx. 50 emails a day :)

PS: yes I have noticed there is a lot more spam recently to do with enlargements and viagra.

5 emails avarage, no spam at all (except for one stupid thing that claimed I subcribed, bastards. I put in a rule for autodelete I think).

I get about 100 or so a day with atleast 40-50 of them being spam..

Noticed alot more 'colon cleansing' spams lately:puke:

Take away the spam, and I would say (on average) about 100-125 legit working emails per day. A lot of times, this is because I am know for being fast on the draw with emails that it becomes somewhat of an online chat :D

I know what you mean. I'm similar, but my average isn't that many though. More specific emails, than general :P
