I suggest we all send an email to the hosting company to get this site shutdown as soon as possible! Thx for your help to keep fraud down.

Since that site offers no credit card numbers for public use, it would be covered under Freedom of pres/speech, I'm not sure if those are protected in the UK but I'm pretty sure they are........

Did you read any of this stuff?

1) Most of the docs are 10 years old or more! Predating the WWW!
2) They reference 2400/9600 Baud BBS's!!
3) Most of this information is so obsolete and safeguards have been taken on most of them.
4) It is very educational. The best way to stop fraud is to know how it is done and recognize it.

I doubt that anyone would take this site down. Even if they did it would pop up somewhere else in 12 hours.

Did you really see throught all the files? I did and there are many files which contain cc numbers. Even if they're not valid numbers it constitutes a crime (i guess  ).

You're looking to shut someone down on an "I guess." Was this site "stolen" from you to Microsol? :D

I agree that sites like these can cause trouble, but I also believe in free speech and that sites like these can help lead to better security measures (if they're current ...which this one is not).

My 2 cents.

Myy 2 cents on this.

I like seeing this stuff. Not to commit fraud, but to know
how to protect my customers and myself.

but I also believe in free speech I have to regrettably agree. Free Speech is rough when what's being said isn't something we like....but the concept of Free Speech is the ability to say it anyway and not having to pick a society that will determine for us what is right and wrong. "Words don't kill, people do" type of thing. I do feel it should be shut-down without question but I would not put my freedom of speech on the line for it.

I just wonder why people don't have better things to do than to talk about how to make explosives.

If you don't like free speech, then go live in Afganistan where they kill you when you talk or publish things they don't like.

If you don't want to do that and the site isn't breaking any laws (information does not constitute a crime is this matter) then go back about your business and find another site to browse. It's just like TV or radio. If you don't like the channel, then change it. I am proud to live in a nation where I can talk or publish whatever I want for the most part (excluding the DMCA B.S. that I believe is not constitutionally sound).

I've gotta agree - just because you don't like it doesn't make it illegal and should be removed. If it is illegal that's different - however asking us to send emails to pressure a host into removing a site is really poor form in my book. Write them and inform them of the portions that are illegal and send it to the appropriate authorities. We get hurt as much as anyone with fraud, but my cause shouldn't be dealt with outside of the system.
Reminds me of a recent article here in Utah - a state legislater said he would make life miserable for liquor advertisers any way he could "whether it was consitutional or not." I've never been so embarrased for a politician and saddened that he was elected by a system he thinks he should be able to circumvent for his causes.

That was not my point. I'm no expert for the law in your country but I don't think that posting credit card numbers is under freedom of speach. :)

I agree, that's very sad. I can't understand people who represent law (or a system in general) and take it not seriously - and saying "whether it was consitutional or not" is very sad.
