Hello,
I have been having some problems with my Raq3 lastely and just as i'm about to expand I realized that I should first learn how to adminster a server. I have used a raq for more than an year but now I am taking linux lessons and need a very VERY cheaper raq server to test my skills.

Please let me know who offers the cheapest raq3 servers and they don't have to much reliable.

Why not just get hold of an old p.c. and install linux yourself and play around? I've learnt quite a lot that way.

Yup. That's exactly what I did. Bought myself a hub for my home, and set up a little network here. It is especially good for a play server because I can walk over and reboot it whenever I want.

Plus, I can easily reinstall Linux if I really mess things up. :D

I am doing that right now. I installed Redhat Linux 6.2 on my old PC yesterday and am looking for an institute nearby to get some courses from. But I still want to test on a Raq3 for a month as in my country the ISPs are too slow and no Static IP. I feal that I won't be able to fully test here, but I could be wrong on this :) whats your opinion.

I need to test things like how to move nameservers, sites from one server to another, etc.

http://www.serverrack.net has great pricing.

i just signed up with them, and their support (mike) has been wonderful so far, helping me with installations, setup, and administration while i'm on vacation in europe....

if anyone uses them, please let me know how things are AFTER signup/setup. things always change for some reason with hosting companies after the setup is complete.
