View Full Version : OMG is any of this possible?
I found this sick soccer clip. I know parts of it are definately fake, but is anything in here possible? Like the spin kick on the ground after the sly tackle and the insane header into the goal at the end?

Aussie Bob 12-15-2003, 11:33 PM The Jackie Chang of soccer! :D
I think all of that except the flying through the air is possible
Jackie Chan rules! haha I love this kung fu stuff its so cool
Art I'd love to see someone drunk try to do that haha wana give it a go? :D :stickout:
Artashes 12-15-2003, 11:41 PM JYC, its been done - I've seen drunk people trying to play soccer. Quite an amusing showcase. What I'm waiting for (and that would be hilarious) is drunk people trying to play tennis. :)
haha Art, that reminds me of my post on ur ginormous thread about that girl
some guy was like... "u just need a drink to give u courage" or something to to that effect... and i said hmm... imagine Art trying to play tennis drunk
that would have been quite some sight :D
btw did things work out? hehe
FHDave 12-15-2003, 11:50 PM I don't see any Jackie Chan in that movie clip. It's Stephen Chow, if I am not mistaken.
I didn't see Jackie either... we were just saying its how Jackie Chan would play soccer. hehe

Yes they did. When I first asked her I got: "Let's talk about this next time.." reply. In a week, when I asked her again, reminding that my offer was still standing firm she said: "Maybe.." (with a warm smile). Today she finally said: "Sure". She already shared that Italian food is her favorite. So, is that a progress or what? :stickout:
RHShawn 12-16-2003, 12:04 AM *stands up and claps* nice job artashes :D
PS:I want a wedding invite
haha thats awesome man
well this week i got turned down by some girl that i was going crazy about (dont you hate that "just friends" crap?)... so that was a relief and a disappointment, but a firm rejection is definately better than a hopeless maybe
i suppose im over her by now... just gota keep moving
gl in your endeavors... hmm bad word choice... in ur... uhhhh... ummm, i hate writers block
anyway good luck and good job, we're proud of u :D :agree:
Artashes 12-16-2003, 12:08 AM Too early. So far I'm taking her out to dinner (hell, not even soon - scheduled within the next two weeks!), but she is one complex and extremely busy lady. I enjoy the challenge though.
well... are there any women that aren't complex
hehe well u don't wana jynx it... so enjoy it if it lasts, and if it doesn't it wasn't meant to be anyway, at least thats what i believe

1. I have no idea what that "just friends" monologue is, but all the ladies seem to know it by heart.
2. Definitely better to hear "no" than hearing questionable answers and then do not get a response for severals days... Its terrible for one's sanity.
RHShawn 12-16-2003, 12:14 AM i havent had the "just friends" line yet and hope i never do lol i just like a simple yes or no.

haha yes... i can vouch for this one
consider yourself lucky if you've never gotten the "just friends" speech, and if you do someday, you'll think of this warning hehe
what the speech means in "guy language" is basicly:
"you're a nice guy, you'd make a nice friend (almost like a girlfriend -- ugh), but I'd never date you or make out with you and all that"
except they do it so much more eloquently:
"I just don't think I feel the same way about you as you do about me." hmm... music to my ears :D
lol

Again, don't want to jinx it, because it might still be ahead. ;)
