i have had too many problems with the new mySQL packages on the cobalt site. i have uninstalled the newer version but i can't find where to get the old mysql 3.22.23 package version. anyone know where i can find that?

I found an older RaQ3-RaQ4-MySQL-3.22.32-1.pkg if you want it. not sure when I got it, but if you want it, shoot me an email and I'll send it to you or upload it. 7.9MB

I also have RaQ3-RaQ4-MySQL-3.23.36-1.pkg 8.09MB which is what's on the machine now (I think, have to check to be sure).

No problems with either that I can recall.

I have never had a problem compiling from scratch. It really is easy.

However you can get some here:

ftp.cobaltnet.com/pub/experimental/MySQL

you might also want to check out

http://cobalt-aid.sourceforge.net

I've installed the rpm's from mysql.com when the pkg's from cobalt have not been avaible; it's really no problem to install them, mysql is running fine, you just needed to move some files to /home....

neither of these locations have any mySQL packages. anyone else know where to find the older version not listed on the http://pkg.nl.cobalt.com/packages/raq/4/ site?
