After some cleaning, please remember the following rule:

The following rules are in place for ALL members in this forum:

Anyone found to be intentionally "trashing" another's ad may be suspended as we see fit without warning.

The Advertising Forums are not a place for you to critique one's ad. Comments such as "You could get a better deal at.....", or "Your price is way too high for that...", or "That design stinks....", etc. will be removed and your account may be suspended as noted above.

Community Leaders will have the final say as to what is and isn't ad trashing. If you think your post might violate a rule - DON'T post it. Email us to check if it would be violating a rule. If you still want to get your point across to the thread starter, then PM or email is always an option.

You may not agree with the request, but that does not give you the right to trash the thread in response.

Ok. Here's a rundown taking from a previous splash screen.

"Welcome to Soundvolume, the future music site aiming at ending the gap between you and the music. Soundvolume is trully what's it's name states it is. Music is more than music..it's life, and Soundvolume uses that as the general idea for the site.

Music sites such as MTV give you plenty of music news, reviews, and articles, but only Soundvolume will provide the story behind the music. Soundvolume will be the first music site to provide the most music news as it happens. Not only that, but Soundvolume will strive to be better then the competion. Our article reviewers will write comprehensive reviews and in-depth articles that you've ever read.

Once more, Soundvolume is run by people just like you. No one here is making 5k to review stuff or manage a site of this magnitude. They're not even getting 5 cents. Soundvolume is staffed by people who are in it for the love of music, not money.
Still, Soundvolume needs your help. Soon a Soundvolume Street Team (SST) will be formed to gather more visitors to Soundvolume and to spread the word about such a great site. Our staff members are putting everything into this and we want to see it work. You can also help us out by supporting them and visiting their sites. They are the people who make Soundvolume possible. I have one offer so far. I'm thinking about it but waiting just a little while to see if I get any other offers.

I could try to work something out to do in exchange for the license.

Originally SteelHouse-Interactive [www.steelhouse-interactive.com] was backing us, but they turned out to be a scam and never did anything for us. Now we are on our own and probably much better off.

I assumed you meant web design or something similar when you said "... work something out to do ..." as opposed to a banner spot you could offer.

I wished everyone that was in business could be a little honest. It is sad to hear that honest businessmen have been the targets of scam artists.
