Hi, I'm not interested in the cheapest. I'm looking for the very best UK Resller hosting. My judgement of "BEST" means best service. Server must be UK based. Financially sound, long established, solid company with a blue chip reputation.

Any recommendations please ?

May I suggest VS Hosting (vshosting.net) ..... do a search! They run a good ship.

Nice suggestion, I like the look of them but their servers appear to be located in the US and I must have UK located servers.

Any other suggestions ?

Have a look at www.webhostchat.co.uk - I know a number of UK hosts frequent there that don't frequent WHT.

I can recommend www.webattention.net . They have servers in the UK and US. I think you just have to specify where you want to be put.

I believe that VS Hosting have one UK based server on their books too.

I've spent a lot of time looking for exactly the same thing you are, and I finally chose http://Clook.net

try fasthosts.co.uk. I just started giving my customers hosting and they have been great till now.

I would try a search on Fasthosts on this forum first before you think about going with them.

I asked why there's been a lot of negative feedback on Fasthosts a while ago, but didn't really get anything concrete.

I had a reseller account with them for about 3 years, and only ever had 2 big outages. One was when they got ddosed. the fact that they claimed a router went down first wasn't great, but otherwise their service was fine.

I would recommend clook.net or kualo.com, I believe kualo can get you a server there.. I know clook can for sure.

I would not recommend fasthosts to anyone, had experience with them personally a couple of years ago and went through hell with them. Although that is no reflection on their current service (are they still claiming unlimited bandwidth?).

Generally lack of knowledge, people tend to spout the same rhetoric others do without doing their own research. Whilst it was once true that the UK was more expensive (Heck, everywhere was more expensive than they are now), it is no longer viewed as being expensive.

i don't sugest for vshosting they have to much downtime
but they have a good support

Stay away from fasthosts.co.uk

They have terrible customer service, and will not assist in the event of a problem. Also their money back guarantee is bogus, there is no money back if you py in advance.
