Hi,
Recently my host blocked all access to RSS news feeds and XML feeds. As some of my sites depend on news feeds and some are 75% XML driven this has caused a lot of problems. Are other hosts doing this also or is this an isolated thing? Needless to say I am in the process of looking for a new host.

As far as I know this is an isolated thing, as most providers don't limit anything with the exeption of IRC, Adult content, and illegal content. Those are the normal 3 that are common to see mentioned(doesn't mean they are always banned).

That is the first that I have heard of that. Did they give you a reason for it?

Normally RSS/XML feeds will go over normal HTTP traffic.. So not sure how they will limit it...
