I've never had a problem with dodaddy 'til today when I went to change dns info for one of my domains.
Imagine my surprise when it wasn't there (the domain).
I have other domains. They're there. Today. Maybe I should just move them.

Just wondering if anyone else is or has experienced similar situation with godaddy.

Checked again to see if I can access the features. It seems I can although I didn't try to change anything.

Hello,

I have had a few domains with Godaddy and have had one problem. I have had a similar situation happen to a friend of mine when there was a critical error in the system.

Apparently, when the Domain was registred with GoDaddy, the Domain registration didn't process all the way. This person had the domainfor about 4 weeks before the error ocurred.

After hours of headaches and pissed off moments, we got a full refund with 8 free domain names with register for 3 years.

Just thought I'd share that with you.

Sincerely,
Justin Somogyi - Owner of CyrixWeb

I have seven domains at godaddy. Well six right now.
I have no trouble with the six.
The seventh is not even listed in the pull down menu.
I will wait for their answer though before I decide on moving them.
It's just pretty scarey to go there to update some information and your domain isn't even listed.
Of course I did a whois; and get a response that the domain ******.org is not listed in the Godaddy Software data bank:eek:

that was kinda scary I have had this domain with them for over a year. I transferred it from another registrar and, untill now, had absolutely nothing negative to say about godaddy.

This is the first domain I ever owned. I'm kinda attatched to it for sentimental reasons if nothing else :bawling: I don't really do much with it.

Well, three hours after I submitted my inquiry to GoDaddy about my missing domain, they wrote me apologies and had it back in my control panel.
But, the dns information was "awaiting processing," to be pointed to park.godaddy.com.
Needless to say; I am still upset.
They said they were sorry and could understand my distress. But they offered no explaination as to the mysterious happenings around my disappearing domain.

I'll let you know what they say happened.
If they don't come up with a plausable explaination; I'm moving.

On a good note. . . . Three hours response time is pretty good.
Just shouldn't have needed customer support assistance.
