I have recently just purchased a new laptop, and with it was XP.

In Outlook express I have received some "normal" word document files and it isn't letting me open them due to the security settings. (note, this isn't to do with IE security settings as I've changed them and nothing happens). I'm confused as I really need to open or save this word doc.

You may want to configure this. In your Outlook Express, go to Tools -> Options -> Security -> Untick "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus".

lol just had that probelm last night as well!

I HATE pop3 email,i consider webmail to be the norm,so i use THAT.....

If you are not getting a lot of e-mails, that is ok. But if you get a lot, then web mail is not an option for me.
