Hi there,

I'm looking to host streaming/downloadable mp3/wma audio of lectures and other audio, nothing illegal and all free of copyright.

webspace requirement 5Gb and Initial bandwidth requirement of 10Gb rising to 20Gb per month when demand increases.

I don't know if the above bandwidth req. is correct but here's some background: i was with a uk hosting company and they do not allow streaming and therefore have disabled my domain! :( On looking at my site logs over the past 27 days I have had 1103 unique visitors, 8687 hits and and with current storage of 580Mb I have had data transfer of 3.44Gb (make your own judgement on what I need!)

What would you advise/suggest on my needs and if anyone can advise me on a cheap and reliable way to get me back up and running quickly then I will be greatly appreciative + a uk host would be brilliant.

Kind Regards

imi

Hey,

I know that one of the best streaming audio/video hosting company is Rackspace.com. They can set you up with individual real time streams, as well as mp3 downloads. The uptime is great, and scalable bandwidth and services.

Try them out, rackspace.com
