Anybody know a lot about this control panel for game servers?

i was just wondering because one day on their website they posted that they would have a version 3.0 coming out soon and had listed all the features in their forums
but now their forums are offline and nothing has really been updated on their website.....

should i wait it out for 3.0 or try and get 2.0 from them now?

or should i just not get exocontrol at all ?
(the fact that their forums are down is a bit shady...)

basically its a rcon panel from what I understand it just does rcon quit to restart etc so it cant do much as far as installling admins and doing configs which it does via ftp.

i know what it does (not being rude when i say this)

but im not asking about exocontrol as in the program, but as in the company...

I know is a bit outdated but for reference to future people looking at it.

Get away from it Exocontrol is a huge scam yes that is what it is.

I contacted them last year in november asking for V3 they told me to get V2 now as V3 will be more expensive when released in the next 2 or 3 weeks.

What i did?
I buy v2 waiting for v3 as recomended.

5 Months passed and v3 still not out you nedd to see al excuses i recived lol.

How many people complained on the forums and best of all he delete the forum twice.

Last Exo (jeff) promise about a month ago whas.

I will release a beta end this week or bbegining next week.

Still waiting :)

We are working on a control panel that at this time only supports linux. It uses ssh keys and various other opensource methods to directly connect to the game servers from a central point. It allows really anything as you create the scripts you want to run. They could be wget scripts and untars to update game servers and it is also going to include remote installs to save having to ssh in and set things up by hand..anyway we are using it house for our 600+ game server clients without issue but it needs polished before we release it to the public. Also note that this will be free of any fees and will include the source code minus a few encoded pages to protect our main code base. We will offer a pay for support service for installs for those who are intersted.

Right now it includes the following games (linux based)

ALL linux games as it uses the shell system once it creates the connection

It allows for remote viewing of PB shots on PB supported game servers.

It includes "config switchers" that easily allow you to create custom configs and make a specific one active for matches, practices, etc...

It includes the ability to stop/start/upgrade/patch etc any linux based game server.


There are many more features that are in testing which include remote installs for company employees, and voice server administration for ventrilo servers (TS already has this), etc...

We have been looking for a good control panel for linux for a long time now.
