After waiting a week for an answer from Enom I have came to realize that the 100 bucks I will spend extra on a godaddy domain reseller will be well worth it if I can get the phone support they offer as it always seems to be available and they seem to be a bit more willing to give some actual support rather than reply with random generic responses.

I am wondering if anyone has any feedback on becoming an godaddy reseller and if Wild West Domains is the only way to obtain one of these..

I just wanted to add I do not need a turnkey solution as I will process everything through my merchant account and handle everything else myself.. Basically I need the same type API as Enom.

After 2 years of being Godaddy reseller, I've got this as a thank you for all of the work you have done for us:

Citation from godaddy web site:
https://www.godaddy.com/gdshop/priv...amp;from%5Fapp=

"Non-ICANN accredited registrars: Only an ICANN accredited registrar gives you the assurance of knowing your domains will be handled by the most secure and reliable systems in the industry. Go Daddy communicates directly to the Domain Name Registries through the fastest connections to the Internet backbone available. Non-ICANN accredited registrars cannot give you this assurance. So look for the ICANN-accredited icon. You'll see it at Go Daddy."

I was shocked; so this is how they like their resellers who actually bring them millions of $$$ ?

I suggest you look at least to a http://www.whois.sc/domain-resellers/
where they tell you the truth:
"Resellers can often give better customer service then Regular Registrars. They make deals with wholesale registrars so they can provide all the services of a registrar and provide the service level you want. Price of domains doesn't include extra services they may also bundle with the domain. So please check out all the resellers. We feel that domain resellers are under represented in the domain industry, so here is an exhausive list of all known domain resellers we know of."

Do not forget that /wildwestdomains.com = godaddy .com and stay away from these bitches.

Look into:
dotregister
directi
onlinenic
opensrs

etc.

Hi,

Use the search feature, I opened 2 threads about WWD/Godaddy's unlawful practices.

After reading those you could think "well, but everything worked out ok", well let me tell you something. IT DIDN'T. I moved to another registrar as those practices didn't seem to come to an end.

If you want an advice GET AWAY FROM THEM. If you want, you can PM me and I will give you some hints about how to be a great domains reseller without having to get involved with WWD (I'm not posting that info here since it has a lot of confidential details).
