is a new mass-mailing worm that utilizes email to propagate itself. The threat arrives as readme.exe in an email.

Its supposed to be as bad or worse than Code Red.

Its supposed to be as bad or worse than Code Red. Worse apparently in at least one way: while Code Red only tried one exploit against IIS, this tries 16. On the other hand, if it is the case that the attachment is always called readme.exe, it may be less likely for people to execute than was the case with Code Red's attachments.

And, by the way, it's technically not a "virus." Yeah, call me pedantic.
