We need an affordable host that will run an IRC server for us. Would appreciate any leads.

I believe www.lomag.net has an ircd package? Maybe www.falcon-networks.com is still around and has their ircd package still around too? Both come with webspace if you need it.

Thanks for the leads. We don't really need anything more than just the IRC hosting. Our webhost doesn't allow it and many of the chat applications cost more for businesses than the webhost subscription.
