I wonder why. ;) :D Vortech 09-18-2001, 04:08 PM This one sucks. It killed our firewall by opening up 10,000 links to the out side.. :( This was from only one windows 2000 server that i think may fo gotten it we had to pull it off the network it was going nuts.. This one is way worse the CODE RED.. Have even seen it change the code in a defalt.asp page to make user looking at that page download the virus this was on a server in CA not one fo ours so i am not sure what that could of been yet.. Was making you download a .eml file and it had an .exe file with it.. Kind of nuts.. S2 Web Design 09-18-2001, 05:19 PM Ken Van Wyk, chief technology officer at ParaProtect, said the worm tries to wriggle in through 16 known vulnerabilities in Microsoft's IIS, including the security hole left in some computers by the ``Code Red II'' worm, which followed Code Red in August. Keywords being "known vulnerabilities"..... Uuuummm, maybe they should patch these holes up, eh? Just a thought. Vortech 09-18-2001, 05:21 PM Yea you would think and hope so.. mithilesh 09-18-2001, 05:47 PM I coudn't understand.:o purplemokey 09-21-2001, 03:56 AM i have a unix account with a webhost so why is my site down? if it's cuz the windows machines are overwhelming my servers with requests then what can i do about it???
